Authors have been extolling the virtues of adventures on the sea for centuries. Deep-sea and sport fishing in Port Canaveral takes that passion and adds a dash of adrenaline for the ultimate experience on the waters. Targeted species and type of fishing vary by season, but there’s always action in the waters on board central Florida fishing charters.
Whether you’re looking to haul in a big trophy fish screaming on live bait during a Cape Canaveral fishing charter, or want go to the other side of the Gulfstream where fishing pressure doesn’t exist, Anglers Envy sport fishing charters have you covered. Here is some Fishing Charter information to make your trip enjoyable
We depart from Blue Points Marina in Cape Canaveral. Typically, we offer departures at 7 a.m. (6:00 a.m. for Otherside trips), but departure times may vary based on the weather and the season.
For our 1/2 and 3/4 day and site fishing trips, the departure times can be accommodated for travel schedules, i.e., arriving or departing a Cruise or flying in or out of Orlando Airport. Please make a note in the Special Requirments section when booking the trip.
We’ll supply tackle, bait, fishing gear, ice, fish cleaning, and bagging. Drinks are available upon request with 48-hour notice. You supply up to 6 people (up to 4 for our 1/2 Day and 3/4 Day trips) and prepare for a great time on the water. Fishing licenses are not required.

4- Hour Site Fishing
- This is a 4 hour sight Fishing trip, designed for fly fishing or casting artificial lures. You will be fishing the flats on the Indian and Banana rivers. Target species will be trout, redfish, black drum , tarpon and snook. Your guide will help you spot the fish and an accurate cast will give you a shot at watching them eat your fly or artificial bait. It doesn’t get more exciting then seeing that fish eat. Catch and release only on this trip.
½ Day Inshore Fishing Charter
- A ½ day of fishing You will be fishing redfish, tarpon, snook, and sea trout. You will be targeting this fish on the flats of the Banana and Indian Rivers. Mainly sight fishing and using artificial lures. We will have live bait in case the fish are being finicky. If you are after a true challenge, we will have a 7wght fly rod on board. Anglers are welcome to bring their own fly rods. We will provide flies from a local shop that are proven to work. If you want a relaxing day on the water testing your angling skills, this is what you are looking for. If you’re new to fishing and want to gain a lot of knowledge, this trip will give you plenty of 1 on 1 coaching. The meeting location will usually be at the Port St. John boat ramp but might change due to water clarity and weather. The captain will reach out to you before your trip if the location changes.
¾ Day Inshore Fishing Charter

Full Day Charter
- A full day fishing trip gives you a little more leeway regarding types of fishing we can do. With a full day, we head out to deeper trolling spots and bottom spots. We will be targeting Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, and Bonita. We use the best tactics to put you on fish and put fish in the boat. The beauty of this trip is there is time also to do some bottom fishing. This trip will be on our 47′ Freeman. When you book your trip pick the type of trip you would like to do for the day: 1/2 Day Deep Drop and 1/2 Day Trolling or Captain’s Choice
Deep Drop Charter
- Are you looking to cross off numerous species of your bucket list, if you are this might be the trip for you? Anglers Envy Charters have pioneered deep dropping out of Port Canaveral, FL. We have spent numerous days perfecting techniques and locating spots to give you the best chance possible to land that 30lb Golden Tilefish, or a big Snowy Grouper, and don’t forget the delicious Yellow Edge Grouper and Blueline Tilefish. Anglers Envy also offers Manual Reels for customers that want the challenge of hand-cranking these beasts up from the deep. This trip is a full day, so if the bite slows down on the deep drop we are giving our anglers some exciting options such as doing some trolling for Mahi, Sailfish, or Blackfin Tuna. Or maybe just doing some bottom fishing for Vermilion Snapper, Triggerfish, Porgies, Red Snapper and Amberjacks. This Trip will be on our 47′ Freeman.
Other Side Charter
- Have you always wanted to travel to the other side of the Gulfstream in search on Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, and Mahi? Well, Anglers Envy can make your dream into reality, get on board and relax for your journey to the other side of the Gulfstream, where fishing pressure doesn’t exist. It’s a little over 2 hours in our boat depending on weather conditions to get you into prime fishing grounds. We will locate birds using our radar then pull in front of the schools of tuna and drop our baits back. And hopefully, it’s game on. The Mahi fishing on the other side is incredible at times, big aggressive fish chowing down your ballyhoo. So get ready to strap into your harness and hang on. This Trip will be on our 47′ Freeman.
Swordfish Charter
- Looking to spend a day going after your dream catch, we have the trip for you. A full day of Swordfishing. Our crew will give instructions on how to operate reels as well as how to look for the bite and set the hook. Bring your patience on average we get 1-3 bites a day. But if you’re looking for a Trophy Fish, it doesn’t come easy. This Trip will be on our 47′ Freeman.
Dredge Fishing Charter
- Book a day of dredge fishing. We deploy dredge bars to imitate schools of bait behind the boat and teasers to bring them up to the surface. Then you will drop a bait back to the fish and feel them take it down. This method of fishing is great for bill fishing, such as Sailfish. So if you always wanted to check that sailfish your bucket list this trip is for you. This Trip will be on our 47′ Freeman. Note: Sail fishing is best in the winter months of November-March. Dredge Fishing Charter for up to 6 people. Departure Time 7:00 am. (Time may vary on season and weather) Located at Blue Points Marina, Cape Canaveral. No fishing license required. Your trip includes all fishing gear and tackle, fishing licenses, bait, ice, drinks, fish cleaning and bagging included. Catered food available upon request with an additional charge with 48 hours notice.
½ Swordfish ½ Deep Drop

On our Skeeter 25′ Bay Boat we might not even head outside the Jetties. With this boat, we will target Triple Tail, Cobia, Tarpon, Jacks, Kingfish, sharks, snook, redfish, flounder, or whatever else we can get into to pull some drag and create some great fishing memories. The Skeeter 25 will accommodate up to 4 anglers per trip. But it might be a little more comfortable with 3. We are using Simrad electronics, Crowder rods paired with top of the line reels. ( Stellas and Twin Powers) from Shimano. Our customers have become used to top-of-the-line gear and service and this boat will be the same. Anglers Envy will provide you with a professional captain, fishing license, bait, fishing gear, fish cleaning and bagging, and hopefully some great memories with your family or friends. 4th person for $50.00. extra

General Terms & Conditions
Included
Anglers Envy fishing charters are limited to 6 people per outing on our Freeman 47 , up to 4 people on our ½ day and ¾ day Bay Boat trips and 2 people on our Flats Boat. Departure times may be adjusted based on weather and the season. All excursions include fishing gear and tackle, fishing licenses, bait, ice, drinks, fish cleaning, and bagging. Catered food is available upon request for an additional charge.
Payment Info
Anglers Envy requires a $200 deposit upon booking for Bay Boat and Flats Boat trips. A $500 deposit is required for Full Day Charters charters. A $1,000 deposit is required for Otherside Charters. GRATUITIES, a standard in the fishing industry, are not included in the price of services. Tips make up a significant portion of the captains’ incomes, so a 20% tip is appreciated!
Cancellations
Bookings are canceled before 48 hours, we offer a full refund. There are no refunds for bookings canceled less than 48 hours from departure. For those who wish to rebook within 48 hours of a scheduled departure, 50 percent of the deposit will be applied to a new booking.
If, due to weather or mechanical reasons and the bookings are canceled, a full refund or rebooking is offered. Rough seas forecasted over 3 to 5 feet or small craft advisories constitute weather cancellation for safety reasons. Captains also reserve the right to make the best decisions for your safety.
